The Department of Graphic Design aims to train qualified designers and visual artists who offer job opportunities by training students in areas such as graphic design, advertising design, visual communication design, motion graphic design, concept design, character design, illustration, user interface/experience design, photography. In addition to the Graphic Design Department Undergraduate Program, there is also a Graphic Design Master’s Program. Our department, which was established in 2000, is constantly improving itself in order to respond to the needed graphic designer profile and to carry our national capacity to international standards. In order to provide better education to our students with different abilities, the Animation and Game Design Department, which was opened in addition to the Graphic Design Department, started education in the 2020-2021 Academic Year.

With our curriculum focused on innovative thinking and producing creative solutions, our aim is to train artists and designer candidates who have developed a responsibility towards society, the environment and the profession while producing creative graphic design solutions by adhering to developing technologies, by providing students with the ability to use graphic language, which is a universal form of expression, while meeting the design needs of the age.
